Finally cleared to get back to life!!!

As I have posted before, I had some major surgery inregards to sinuses, tonsils, adnoids, and sleep apnia. Been on some major pain killers up until today. (opiate based meds are good sh!t.)

Well, the Doc said i can begin getting back into life, everything is healing nicely, and I am now on a topical pain med for my throat.

This was the last post op clean out. It looked like they were evicting the California Rasins from my nose. He used a suction device (felt like he turned on the shop vac), and a pair of 90 degree angle gripping tools that he used to pull the really big chunks out with. Talk about picking your nose!!!!

The lidocaine he sprayed in my nose to deaden the sensation tasted HORRIBLE!!!!! When I walked out of the office, man the nose was clear, I could breath, and I could actually walk a straight line because I had not taken any pain meds since last night when going to bed.

I also have to say the "smell" sensation is a bit sharper now, but not as sensitive as that first post op visit a week or so ago.

I am still on "restricted duty" as I can't pick up anything over 25 lbs, or bend over to even pick up a pencil off the floor, he is afrai the strain will cause a nose bleed, or worse.

but anyway, back to work on monday, and cleaning the house this weekend. 😀

So glad I could make your evening. Thing is, as each one was evicted, it felt like a string of thick yarn was being pulled through my sinuses and right on out. YUCK!
