Finally bought the new Macbook Pro for my wife

She used to use the ibook G4, then I got a Dell XPS M1330 and installed Hackintosh two years ago. At that time the 13" Macbook with the plastic case has serious crack problems and I did not want to spend $1500 for the Macbook Pro.
The XPS M1330 runs perfectly but the new 13" Macbook Pro is so beautiful and only $999! So I just went to Microcenter and picked it up last night. The C2D CPU might not be the fastest, but who needs a workhorse in the laptop? I have the powerful desktop to install Hackintosh if needed.
Anyway this is a great product I bought from Apple. I don't like their phones and pads, but I have no complaints against the Macbook Pro.

as long as she is happy is what matters. My buddy just got a really good deal on a near new 15" MacBook pro today. I have no experience with them but have been thinking of getting one. Although the newer laptops are getting closer to par w/macs and battery life

Microcenter has been carrying on this deal for a while. The normal price is $1199 everywhere.
