Looks great, less fulfilling.

I'm especially referring to the 3 80mm fan slots vs the single 120mm on the back. So much for quiet cooling.

It's got a crapload of fans...and plenty of bling to go with it. If you're looking for not-necessarily-quiet cooling and lots of blinky blinkies all at a reasonable price, then I think you've found what you're looking for! 😀

Not for me....too much bling...internals look nice...cooling potential looks good....not going to be quiet...this is quite the change from the other one you linked...I liked the Centurion5 @ CompUSA much better 🙂

Personally I would go with the centurion and heres why!!

Albeit the other case has alot of "bling bling"
The centurion looks to be made better and more thought out as far as cooling goes!!
Also you will find that a sturdier case will last longer and you won`t have undue stress on your mobo due to minute albeit miniscue warping of the case which can cause things like your videocard to every so often jiggle itself out and not work......etdc...

Go with a nice sturdy well thought out case!!!!

I would get a different case if had to do things all over again!!
This Aspire X Dreamer looked nice at the time but its just not in league with othert top notch cases!!

Good Luck!! 🙂

looks like a cross between transformers...and....wild monkey's stuck in the jungle all tangled up in a tree...yeah I went there.

Not the case for me...but to each there own of course!

If you want a flashy case thats a good one to go with. My first case had a window, neon light inside and LED 80mm fan on the side. I thought it looked great in the pictures on the site but when I got it home and hooked up it was just too much for me. I ended up taking out the neon light and just having a few LED case fans and that was enough. I don't like cases with doors on the front to hide the optical drives but thats just my preference. On the plus side it looks like a roomy case and will have a lot of air flow but that could be bad depending on how loud the fans are. Personally i'd say keep looking but thats just me.

well thank you all for your opinions. you have given me something to think about now, i do still like the centurion 5 at compusa and might still get it. will keep you guys posted

I bought the Centurion 5 CAC-T05 black/silver case fro, newegg a few weeks ago and I love it. Simple, classy and it gets the job done. It actually has better air flow with 2 case fans than my old Enermax case with 5 case fans and since it only has 2 fans its much quieter. Newegg has it for $45 + $13 s&h right now.

Sheesh! This is a rough crowd!

hclarkjr, if your happy, i'm happy. Your case is better than
the SkyHawk on my bench. When done, fear may prevent posting pics 😉

Galvanized

He edited the orig post...it was a different case originally that we were talking about 🙂
Temps lookin good hclark.

oops sorry for the confusion, yes there was another case i was going to get but with all the outcry here i was forced to buy another 🙂 J\K when i had the actual case in front of me with all the advice and research done i picked that one. they had a P160 and P180 there also but i felt this case had more of what i wanted. i know a lot knock compusa around here but i like their selection. prices are not bad either. people always say egg has it for such and such but i have found in most cases compusa is around $20 more than egg which isn't bad considering you have to pay S&H at egg versus gas and tax at compusa. so fair deal i would say.
