Finally an FPS with more substance

I'm waiting for Quake Wars.

It's so hard for games to catch my interest. I just bought GRAW and I'm bidding on Company of Heroes (this is a freaking awesome game btw) on ebay.

Those two should hold me over for a while.

EDIT: There's something about beings with magical powers holding machine guns that makes me think of bargain bin games.

Quake Wars does look good, but definetly a Battlefield style game with "mission" type gameplay. (something that will get old fast in my opinion) One feature i like about the game is how you drop in from parachute when you respawn.

I own Company of Heroes and think it is extremely over rated. It doesn't even come close to matching the greatness of Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2. I only have played multiplayer for this game so, the single player experience could be different. Multiplayer is just annoying when you join a game and it is two teamates who have the SAME PLAN for ONE MAP (i have faced these two kids in a 2v2 game THREE times and they did the same thing...not fun) and it is usually like this all the time.

There hasn't been any recent knews about Huxley which really worries me, but yes, 100 v 100 online battles should be pretty crazy. I hope character uniqueness is a big thing in this game (armor, helments, etc...) being that it is an MMO. One thing i also like is the fact that Xbox 360 players will get to play against PC players online.
 
I'd like to see a "MMOFPS" that is modern military like BF2, but there is like a non-linear story line.

There should be commanders/mission planners, people to carry out missions, complete objectives in an effort towards a larger goal.

That is about as far fetched as you can possibly get, but I am growing tired of these fantasy FPS.
 
Never heard of this game, but I watched the trailer. Eh, not my kind of game.

BTW, shouldn't this be in software and games?

Just edit the OP and ask what kind of video card we'll need to be able to play this game at 1680x1050 4x/16 AA/AF full settings 😀
 
What game is from the trailer the OP posted?

Anyway the only game im looking forward to is Armed Assault. Im into my tactical shooters and i like my realism. GRAW was ruined for me by the shocking friendly AI.
