finally a PS3 Move game worth buying

Hmm I thought the game was being displayed in 3D and then I saw the glasses on the guy... interesting and also not very good for close-ups like at 1:45 😛.

probably should have gotten a video of someone playing who actually knew how to aim.

i'd like to see a video game in 3d though bet it is neat.

but considering kz2 was so bad control wise i would never buy kz3 w/out playing it first.

You know, I picked up KZ2 after being challenged again the other day....and I haven't played in months. It was like having to play new again, and guess what? I see the gripes everybody has. And they are baseless as shit. One company does a little something different with controls and tires to separate themselves from the likes of shitty games (CoD) and everybody goes ape shit about it. The controls are absolutely fine, and the guns handle absolutely fine, and if you can't get used to them, it is you who is the problem.

Funny how games are starting to come with accessories again.

Remember this?

Old news... I played Zaxxon and Missle Defense 3D on my Master System 20 or so years ago.. with those funky 3d glasses on and all.

I see the DLP TV's are pretty cheap for lots of screen, but I'd rather stick to LCD.

The best part, Malak, was when Mitsubishi was offering a free 3D Kit when you purchased one of their DLP TVs. The kit has a $400 MSRP, so combined with the fact that you could get say... a 65" DLP for ~$800-900, you were getting a hell of a deal.

If you do wish to go DLP, do be aware that some models do not support all the 3D modes and require the 3D Kit, which translates the other 3D modes (side-by-side, top-bottom and frame packing) into the checkerboard format. The $400 price tag isn't too terribly bad when you consider you also receive two pairs of glasses, which cost $100-150 MSRP and the price on the converter is $100 MSRP.

Just some food for thought. I own a Mitsubishi DLP, but I don't care too much about 3D right now, so I never bought one of the kits.

the controls were so 'absolutely fine' that Guerilla updated the controls and made the new control scheme the default controls.

did you by any chance apply the update before you played the game?

if so, and you did not change the control to be the old way, you were playing with the new and improved controls without even knowing it...

No, Guerilla added control schemes because people like you kept bitching that it wasn't a CoD clone and you couldn't float around like a feather. I've played the game 250 hours since launch online, I think I know what control scheme I'm playing with.

my bitching had nothing to do with them changing it. the controls were so poor that I was thankful they put a demo out, saved me $60 on a day 1 purchase. i haven't touched it since nor do i plan to. they changed it for the customers, and i'm not one of them.

and again, if the controls weren't so piss poor to begin with, then why would they have added a new control scheme AND made it the default?

Killzone 2 was amazing as long as you were playing against and with nationals. They did tighten up the controls soon after release and that game had the best hit detection of any shooter I've ever played, and that says a lot. I would not hesitate to get KZ3, nor would I hesitate to recommend it.

I can understand your gripe if you based your view of this game on the demo, but the complete game is amazing when played in a moderate ping environment.
