Saw over MajorGeeks that a new refresh rate tool for nVidia based cards is available

Brings simplicity back to fixing the refresh rate problem.

You must only run this program after each new installation of Detonator XP drivers that use the compressed mode format. The program is not designed to be memory resident.

Program Requirements:
- Any Nvidia display card(TNT and above)
- Windows 2000/XP
- Nvidia Detonator XP Drivers w/ compressed mode support.
- DOES NOT REQUIRE REFRESH RATE MODIFIED DRIVERS.

program doesn't work for me...i get an that when i hit apply settings that says
"error writing to registry"

Do a search for refreshlock... works great, small memory footprint and it doesn't tank your registry. Works for ATI/nVIDIA cards.

Actually the good/easy to use refresh program has already been here for many months and it's called RivaTuner. Click and reboot - you can't get much simpler than that.

Actually you can,with NVRefreshTool 0.6b no reboot needed,also it`s very small and is not bloatware like some other programs,highly recommended IMHO and yes I`m using it .
