How goofy is this tale? Well, the battleground between the true believers' Tribulation Force and the Antichrist's Global Community Peacekeepers is a heathenish New York City. Your units include gospel-singing musicians, missionaries, healers, and medics. Enemy units feature college-trained secularists, devils, and foul-mouthed rock stars with their electric twangers. Stereotypes are everywhere. New Yawkers speak with such cheesy accents that they should be driving Brooklyn cabs in 1954 while chewing on unlit stogies. Similarly, the game has a 1950s-style attitude about men and women. Only males can become priestlike disciples and handyman builders, whereas only women can become nurses. Female units are actually designated as such and given ridiculous titles like "Friend Woman" and "Medic Woman," a sexual distinction that unsurprisingly isn't extended to their male counterparts. Finally, the game isn't politically correct when it comes to race, either, because a fair number of the bad guys bear Arab and African names.

I'll stick with heathen games...
edit: a nice player review
..demoGraphically it is on par with Command and Conquer. The first one. With drab colors. That came out in 1995 in case it is before your time. Of course C&C had ten times more units , different maps, and buildings you could build. Here you have a few units on each side, the play field is in a city and is a whole 3 by 3 blocks. You don't build buildings you just use the ones that are there already, which all look pretty much the same. If there was nothing else bad about the game I might understand the 3.4 that Brett gave this game. Now the bad (the stuff above was the *good*) stuff. Your units are the everyday people in the city. Each person even has a discription of what they did before they found God and why. All of the educated peoples' descriptions I read said that basicly their education brought them unhappiness and pushed them away from god so they had to "renounce education" to be saved:
Lesson 1: Education is evil. I guess that explains a lot of what is happening in Congress and the White House.
Let's talk about women. The game has men and women in pretty much even proportions as you would expect. The problem is women cannot be any unit except a nurse. Want to preach the Gospel and convert other people to your side? You need a man. Women are inadequate for this role. You want to take an already-made building and make it into a bank or a cafe? Again you need a man since women are clearly inadequate for this role also. How about a musician? You guessed it. Women are unsuited to such work. Lesson 2: Women are a waste of air unless a man gets hurt and needs to be "nursed".
OK, now my biggest gripe. All the good units are white. Full-white mayonaise-eating Cuacasians. That's not to say there are no African-Americans in this New York City, there are. But they are the "evil musicians". All of them are black. They play guitar riffs which were about the only cool sounds in the game but are labeled as "the Devil's Music" in the game.
Lesson 3: White people are here to save you from evil black people. And their rock and roll.
