Finally! A car receiver that doesn't play CD's!

And only $90!

I couldn't tell you the last time I played a CD. But I connect my phone via bluetooth all the time. I hated having to pay for a CD player that was never used. I just bought this guy and can't wait to hook it up.

Auto makers are starting to take them out too. The new Grand Cherokees don't have one unless you specifically get the option for it.

I have a JVC receiver with bluetooth attachment. It's probably the best combo I've had going from Clarion to Pioneer to JVC.

I've got a 32 gig stick in my phone already. Couple that with the however many thousands of songs saved to Play Music and I hope I'm good.

Yeah, I go the opposite route - leave the phone's storage free for taking photos & videos, plus if you get bored, you can have like 20,000+ MP3's on that little USB stick, which lives in the dash 24/7, so you never have to hook it up, it never runs out of battery, etc. Just as kind of a permanent music drive system

My problem is my listening choices are very broad. I'll go from listening to a Christian Apologetics lecture to Tupac to Phill Collins. If I keep it all downloaded, its a cluster F. So I keep most music on Play, lectures in a folder and podcasts in another.

Bah.. I had a receiver that couldn't play CDs back in the '80s 😀

Lol! I have a receiver in the 2000's that plays only the radio

The CD and cassette player are both dead:'(

But you can't beat my workvan E-350 Diesel that only has a AM/FM radio (6.0L POS) not my vehicle so I can change the radio

If you pull that out, you will laugh. Its only like 2" deep 😀

I'm loving the JVC. It works perfectly

Holy [cow] bros, use your cell phone for music then.

No profanity in the tech forums

I know I have seen those out of the vehicle before

Now one of the workvans in my company has the ford CD/cassette radio and the 7.3L diesel
Oh what I would do to be assigned that van

I've thought about putting a deck in my Civic because it doesn't have an AUX jack. It's a really PITA to do it though. Have to basically take the entire centre console out, just to get at the screws to remove the deck.

Got this and it is quality.

HD Radio, CD, USB, and Bluetooth.

I got this same one. It was a massive improvement over my stock radio. I got one of those slim cruzer 32gig USB sticks too with a ton of music on it.

I like that its double din so the buttons are near the same size as my stock radio was, so I can change the stations easy without looking at it while driving. I had rental cars with those touch screen radios and I hate them. I want gps and radio completely separate.
