Finalizing my order - quieting down my system

Hey everyone, welp I finally think I'm down to making my decision on which products to purchase. So what do you guys think? I'm running a xp2400 (not-overclocked) and just looking to quiet the system down.

I chose this hsf based on a suggestion by one member, would the fan on the spire perform quietly or do you think I should swap it out to a L1A?

I'm gonna get one of these to swap into my power supply and also one for a friend's who is quite loud as well. I checked the specs on both PSU's fans and these will cover the CFM easily, the current fan specs say 38CFM but when I put my hand against them, they really aren't pushing very much air.
Panaflo 80mmx25mm - H series 39.6 CFM

I'm either gonna go with 1 or 2 of these, based on whether or not I should replace the fan on the Spire HSF. If I shouldn't, I'm just gonna run 1 of them as a rear case fan. I'll probably order more because I want to quiet my brother's system down also.

I'm gonna wait on the video cooling for now, I want to see how much quieter the system gets just by doing this mod before I spend $30 on a ZALMAN Heatpipe for my ti4600.

If you've not purchased a case yet, you might wish to consider one that has a 120mm intake & a 120mm exhaust. You'd probably only need to use just the exhaust if you're not getting crazy with the overclocking.
Check out this case, for example.
 
Thanks for the suggestion, I unforunately already have this system completed.. I've had it for quite sometime now, but I made the big mistake of not really researching quiet hardware to go into the system.

Because of this, it is rather loud.. Sounds like a Harrier Jet.. haha..

So these are just the components I'm puchasing to quiet it down some..

The "H" model of the Panaflos are not quiet by any stretch, it's the "L" version that's the quiet one. Go with that or the "M" version at max.

Depending upon the drive bay config, it's an antec lookalike/wannabee.

Also, I'd be checking out the db on your psu. PSU's can be very loud. I have the seasonic 300 and I can't hear it. I have panaflo L1a's for case cooling and they are quiet. I have a fan speed controller that keeps the fans tolerable or quiet. The loudest device in my box now is the drives. I'm working on silencing them but I have about 7 so that's a challenge.

I have a thermaltake Xaser II which is a mid/full tower and I'd like to make it quieter. If I didn't pay $100 for it I'd dump it for a Lian Li or Sonata tomorrow.

What about the H version on a rheabus? Do you think He'll get the quiet cooling he wants with that fan on his hs?

An H1a @ 7v sounds about like an L1a on 12v, so it can still be quiet. The ratings of the Spire's fan are suspect... 21db w/28cfm? The H1a is not a quiet fan @ 12v, as Gravity said. I highly suggest a fan controller. They give you the flexibility to run the fans full out when you're taxing the CPU, but you can turn them down (or off completely) when the CPU is idle.
