Got it down to a combination I like. Question is:
how do you add your mint leaves? Muddling creates little leaf particles that I don't want my guests drinking, and rubbing the leaves on the inside of the glass doesn't seem to give the dirnk enough mint flavor

my gf always just throws it in hers and just mixes the drink with a spoon. Thats probably the best you can do without overpowering the drink.
 
I dunno this drink. is it sweet?

if it's sweet.. buy a bottle of that mint syrup to add to coffee.. and use that and skip the sugar, then toss in a sprig of mint for looks. 🙂
