video card ?

i definitely want to get 7800 GT or GTX. however, i don't want my 3500 to bottleneck the GTX, can you comment on the parts and give your opinion on the video card?

A 3500+ should run at 2.2 ghz. That's just where you want to be for a GTX.

Get 2GB of Value RAM. It'll be much better than 1GB of performance RAM. That's a pretty nice price on a 3500+, but a 3000+ overclocks just as well and is only like ~$140. I heard the SLI-Deluxe is supposed to be pretty buggy... If you really want ASUS, get the SLI-Premium. However, that board is kinda overpriced, so the EPoX 9nPA+ Ultra/MSI Neo4 Platinum/DFI Lanparty Ultra-D would be a better choice.

The case looks a little cramped. No sense in sacrificing user-friendliness for style.

Check this Link will give you the list of good 1x2gig rams
Antec TX640B case w/ 400watt SP2(Smart Power2)nice looking plenty room great air flow, great power supply $84 w/ rebate. There are 450,500watt antec @ newegg but more$ and overkill
OCZ 2x1g $237 w/ rebate
Also check Patriot 2x1g, good mem for overclocking.

doo nawt i repeat doo nawt get sli.
epox 9npa+
2gb of corsair value
3000+
bfg/evga 7800gt

overclocking shouldnt be a problem if you use a divider.
its never a bad thing to have the cpu bottlenecking the gpu, unless its a celeron.
lian-li cases are built for good airflow, the people who says it is are only saying it because of the looks of it. the case should be mostly your choice, not everyone likes the same ugly looking aspire cases.

thanks for the response. the parts you have recommended made me think. I think i will go with them. however, corsair value does not have 2*1GB . it only has 2*512. you are telling me to get 4*512 right?
