Hey all. With Ati's recent decision to push back the release of their R600 cards, i've decided to stop waiting and put my dated 6800Gt/amd 3200 system to rest. anways, heres what i've come up with:
Mobo: ASUS P5N32-E SLI Plus
Ram: 2 gig Patriot Ram at 800 mhz
GFX: Evga 8800GTX
CPU: E6600
PSU: OCZ 600 W
Case: Antec P180
Moniter SCEPTRE X20WC-Gamer
To run with win XP 32 bit. Basically i wanna max out games like oblivion at 1600X1000. The only parts I am unsure about are the mobo and PSU. The PSU should be good for the gtx with the rails and stuff right? And the mobo, i want something that is stable and has a good upgrade path. Also, for the e6600, is the stock cooler sufficient for good OCing? This is only my second build so any suggestions/comments are much appreciated, thanks!
