for the time being, im ignoring sound card, 2.1 setup and headsets.
Since I do have those 3 but a cheap format.

All I ask from YOU is:

A - will I run into any compatibility issues?
B - how much can I overclock on stock?
C - Will my video card be blocked with those 2 HDD?
D - do I have the right PSU for the setup?
E - Is the PSU cable long enough to reach in the P180?

Usage:

Video editing, Gaming, Rendering, ripping, gfx Gaming some more.
Overclocking: I am suffice with the amount the epox is able to OC when I need to, until then, it will be stock, hence the decisiob to a Epox instead MSI/DFI

Any other question, comments, critisim, suggestion is appreicated.

At least 2.5-2.6GHz on the 4400+, 450/1280 on the GTX

I don't have a P180, but I doubt it

You should be ok, but can't say unless you show us the exact PSU you are getting
E - Is the PSU cable long enough to reach in the P180?
I have heard people having this problem in the P180
 
A - Nope
B - Probably at least a 400 mhz overclock
C - No.
D - GET A BIGGER ONE. Seasonic S12 500w or 600w... If you're willing to buy the top of the line parts but skimp on the psu, its not worth building a computer then. PSU is #1 priority dude.
E - Dunno 😀
 
not trying to "skimp" but been recommended by other AT'ers with 450-500w is enough.
And from reading as well, its not the # that means much but the efficiency of it.
and I heard alot of high praises for Fortron 450w $49.99

Guess im waiting for confirmation on my question "E"

I'll look into that PSU as well though. dependign which has a longer cable length.
Curious, whats the 4800+ ghz at stock? will I atleast reach that?

Yeah I know that forton. Still, I say its not worth skimping if you're buying a x2 4400+ with a 7800gtx.
4800+ is 2.4 Ghz.
 
what got me sold is the price as well which is not bad at all.
granted my original budget for a PSU was $75.

ahhh. 2.4ghz... thats great.. as long as I can OC minimum 2.4, satified at 2.5 be awesome for 2.6 stock/air
 
That Fortron 450W is the best match for the P180 case. Its cables are long enough to reach unlike other psus. If you want something more, then you can get the Fortron FSP550 550W for about $96. That thing is a pure beast in terms of sheer power.

Or you can get the Sparkle FSP550 550W for about $103 or $104. You will get the same level of high quality since Sparkle and Fortron are the same.

Why? the 7800GTX draws less power than a 6800 Ultra. there are people out there running their 6800 Ultras in 250W Sparkles/Fortrons and have no problems.

that Fortron 450W is more than enough since it has extremely solid rails.
 
Novercalis you might want to check out Logitech's G5 as your next mouse. It is really a laser mouse. It looks really good. The cost is around $80. But if you want to save some money you can get the MX518. or if you want to save even more, you can get the MX510, which I have, for less than $35. but since you're set on getting the Razer.

I have a Nec dvd burner in my system, it runs well, so I would recommend the 3540A model. I have a slightly different model. If you want a seperate dvd-rom drive, I would say that Lite-on is probably the best choice. they are priced well and perform very well. I have one and like it.
 
i need a cd and dvd burner combo with playback function. I was thinking I needed 2 but not any more.
I will end up getting a NEC though... not sure which one since I havent really bother looking into it yet.

Im not sure which MX series I held at BB but I didnt like the feel of it at all. Im very very pick with the mouse.
Currently with a logitech, i forgot what series, but I had it for 4 yrs, I gone through 5 different mouse cause many of them were discriminating me and my left hand 🙂~
also tons of FPS game I play, so the most DPI does make a hufe difference in turning radius and i'd like to utlize that.
 
well, I just purchased my eVGA 7800 GTX for 450 and 74GB Raptor.
Just realized im officially out of paypal Fund lol.
Must open a bank account now.. I havent seen daylight in a long time! literally, GY worker, than I lock myself in this room during daylight or im asleep.
sigh, the morning socializing! is it safe out there? lol...
