So, I'm pretty excited about finishing my Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting at Mary Baldwin College.
It turned out to be a lot more affordable than JMU for me. I've been running around talking to advisors to make sure JMU would look favorably upon their degree for admission into their Masters program, as I would like to get a Masters in Accounting.
Plus MBC is right down the road from me!
Mainly just wanted to share some of my excitement.
Glad the wife doesn't mind this stat:
Percent degree-seeking undergraduate women: 95.5 %
Percent degree-seeking undergraduate men: 4.5 %
I'm hoping that if I keep up the heavy course loads I can have my BS completely finished in 3 years total. I've been taking 18 credits per semester at the CC plus a full summer load of 12 as well.
It's just nice to have all the uncertainty in transfer course planning out of the way and have an affordable way to finish my education with a few of the grants they offered.
