What do you guys think of my lastest Joystick trackball setup? I custom made everything you see except for the trackball itself. I wanted to make the Ultimate gaming control. Insanity or Genius ??
The process i used to make it involved laser welding lost wax casting, model making and molding, machining, electrical wiring. and yes a dremel was involved
It comes with thirty six keyboard switches, three four way military spec hat switches.
No keyboard emulation this time just took the circuit board out of a USB keyboard and hard wired it straight to the switches, when I plug it in it's seen as a keyboard. Also I hooked up a Nostromos speed pad circuit board to several of the switches for more key and macro options. The controller is comprised of several metals, Bronze, Brass Aluminum, Steel and a Low temp alloy. The track ball has two four way hat switches mounted above it for quick and easy manipulation.
This Fraging Station is meant to last a very long Time, I've been testing it and I must say it works Awesome! It was fun as hell to build and design. It was a learning experience I am now a believer in form follows function. I hope you guys, gals enjoy the pics.
