You'll all be glad to hear I settled on the accessories for my 03' F150

Had a Line-X bedliner sprayed in last week.

Have this Extang Cargo Max toolbox/tonneau cover coming hopefully this week.

This L=Full tailgate protector ]http://www.deezee.com/Images/product_info_pix/BT_FTGP.jpg[/L] is in route too.

Just got off the phone with Crutchfield & have JBL Power Series 5"x7"/6"x8" Speakers & Pioneer DEH-P5500MP coming as well.

I haven't had a truck in about a decade, I'm so happy:D [

Don't know, I do know the Line-X is toxic when it's applied so it must be good:D

I had Rhino-liner sprayed in a Ford Ranger once, it was like trying to stand on glare ice when it was wet. I made the guys @ the Line-X dealership spray down a pickup to prove it didn't get slick when wet.

They kicked ass when they put it on, done in 1.5 hours...

I tried to get them to spray the outside, & they declined, said it would be "Too bold." :D

Also have one of these

Full tailgate protectors coming

line x is far better than herculiner. expect herculiner to peel, chip, crack, fade and flake off.

wise choice on the truck =)

stev0 <- drives a 00' F150 flareside :)

Nice truck and wise choice in accessories. I like the spray-on liner. Way better than a dop-in and it's almost impossible to chip. :) Best of luck with your new truck. :)

I'd like to but then I couldn't haul a palate of floor tile with it:(
I just got done doing that yesterday, got the hardbacker today

Then lift it + bigger tires :) Just get some 3.53s or 3.73s to compensate for it

4.10's atleast his prolly came with 3.55's or 3.73's already. GM is kind enough to offer 4.10's in their 1/2 tons so thats what I got :D awesome for the rockies.

I remember when I had a 96 GMC Sierra. It had around 150 miles on it. Dad had bought one of those tailgate protectors, but for the top of the gate. I remember watching him take a drill to the truck. He winced when he first started it up.

Exterior and interior? this is a truck, you mean the engine and drivetrain changes in 2004 right? ;)

Did you do this at the dealership?
No, the dealer generally isn't your friend when buying accessories. I had the Line-X done by an independent dealer.

Thanks:D, wanted to do a killer stereo, but I'll settle for durable. Crutchfield had a killer price on the JBL's and the CD player will do MP3's & WMA's:D Goint to use American Express BVG on the Pioneer & get ~$70 back.

I know, my dad always mounted a CB & business band radio in his stuff & cut a hole in the roof...

I have this habit of buying the last production year of a domestically sourced auto, they're dirt cheap & the engineers have had a chance to work out the major bugs. I'm really not into style, just function. Plus it takes a long time for accessories to come out for a new model, particularly Fords:(

I've glanced @ the intake & exhaust on the truck, it seems like it'd be hard to get any more performance out of it, they're both massive. I was thinking about an intake kit & cat back kit, but I don't think I'll be doing them for a long time...

Was thinking about replacing the rims & tires, but the 16" alloys & tires that came with it will work fine for now:D

because people dont buy trucks for the interior and if they do, they buy a tacoma and pretend to be a truck person
