oh well to late I already got the 300w Power supply I think I will be fine 😉 also what is the best 21" + monitor? please tell me what you would buy 🙂 Also I wont be overclocking 😉

Why not get better speakers? You're going to get a good sound card, but budget speakers? I would go with a good set of Boston Acoustics Ba4800. It a 4 speaker system, and it comes with a subwoofer. They are digital and crystal clear. They cost about $110, I think at bestBuy.com.

Also, everyone else is right. If you get the LCD, get a cleaper video card. No use in getting the Geforce3 when it won't look good on the monitor. i would just go with a traditional CRT monitor.

PS - Why are your parents worried about radiation? The monitor shouldn't hurt you unless you're taking it apart 😛

I guess your parents don't allow you to use the microwave either? Seriously, I think you would be hard pressed to find any evidence of health problems as a result of using a CRT monitor.

I think I got one of the best monitor ever I got the Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2060U
22-inch monitor with .24mm dot pitch 😉

TYour system starts to rock some serious b_t now when U got a monitor for it too. I would buy better speaker thought.

BTW if U will build this system yourself be carefull so U don't crush the CPU core when U mount the heatsink on, good luck.

I guess your parents don't let you go outside or watch TV either, what a drag. The world is full of radiation, just at very low levels most of the time.

people keep tellng me that, is it really that bad?

those things are just like lap top scrreens. changing the resolution makes things all blocky. so, yes, they are that bad. go to a comp store and see for yourself.

get a 2nd pci video card that has tv tuner and video in, so you'll have all the bells and whistles. then get a 2nd 21" crt and you'll have dual display capability
