Sup everyone, I'm building my friend a system and his budget is $900 w/out a monitor and here's what I had in mind...

128MB PC13
Seagate 15GB 7200rpm EIDE Ultra ATA /66
GeForce2 MX
Soundblaster Live!
ACS45.2

3Com/USRobotics 56K

I'm a little bit over budget so does anyone have any suggestions? I don't want to skimp out on the processor as much as I can...
 
Did you look at the latest Maxtor Hard Drives with all the huge size they have now they have driven thier prices down pretty far
 
i think the monitor is far more important, spend more on that. Ditch the live, get a value. Or get a sb64pci. Get a duron 650. Get a cheaper modem. if you aren't overclockin save some money and get a ga-7zx-1 or a msi k7tpro
