Man, I wasn't ready for what happened to Nate:(

How about putting "spoilers" in the title for those who haven't seen the previous episodes?

Yeah... the first few episodes this season were pretty boring, but all of a sudden they threw some HUGE plot twists with Nate that made the show pretty damn good for the past few episodes.

Still, there are a LOT of loose ends that need to be tied up for the finale. It's going to be tough to do it in just 75 minutes.

LOL

Ok, so what do you-all think will happen to David, will he & partner seperate?

Claire seems to be a freaking nightmare, blundering form one poor fit to another.

Why didn't Brenda die? I can't figure out if I think she's hot & a bitch or just a bitch. She's pulled some pretty skanky stuff.

I'll watch it tomorrow. I always watch the 4400 :D and catch Six Feet Under on Monday. It was a decent series, but never really captivated me. The two episodes of Nate's collapse and death were of the best episodes for all of the HBO shows. I guess the thing is it just never really had a central theme, it was just a show that seemed to go all over the place. The beginning of each show showing the people die are classic though. Not worth owning on DVD but decent run.

I liked the ending. It's nice to see a series end properly and not just leave you hanging with the promise of perhaps another season.

A series about death that died perfectly.

*spoiler*

it was genius to kill off all the characters in the end.

I wouldn't say they were killed off at all. Killed off implies just ending their life. They lived their lives. We just got to glimpse at how it all might work out.

Did anyone see david and keiths youngest son holding a asian dudes hand at the funeral? So is the show trying to say the youngest son is gay?

I think the ending was sad in a way. They ENDED the series in a way where you can't leave their lives open for interpetation. I know they only showed the main characters deaths but I would have like to see others die like:

Brendas brother
Federicos wife

And how come Keith dies a horrible death while the others just die of old age, a heart attack, or stroke.

I noticed that handholding stuff too. I guess they wanted to try to start a controversy of some sort... like perhaps some gay person can claim that the show was trying to say that homosexuals raising children are more likely to "turn" kids gay or something. Whatever, it was unnecessary.

I too think they should've included more characters and their final moments. Federico's wife, George, Brenda's mother, etc but I suppose they have to draw the line somewhere.
