Final question. GF2 GTS Vs GF2 MX

Based on what I think is correct, please help me to decide.

OEM GF2 GTS or Full retail GF2 MX w/TV out and Dual Head, same price.
(I have 2 GF2 GTS on there way for $144 and $159 from uBid).

With 17", and high end CPU, at 800x600 both will perform the same in 32 bit?
Main use at 1024x768 so:
At 1024x768 slight edge to GF2 GTS?
At 1024x768 with FSAA on, GF2 GTS fully usable, GF2 MX 1/2 the speed?
The BIG Question: Why would I want to use higher resolutions?????

So, which is going to give most joy? Dual Head and TV out, or FSAA?
How often would I be able to use FSAA or other features?
Is FSAA useless on the GF2 MX? At 800x600?
Any other things I'm missing?

huee, of course geforce2 gts will more better than geforce2 mx, u only can compare the geforce2 mx with geforce sdr

Why get it, or how will it be better, based on the info I posted?

Why should I give up Dual Head and TV out, if 1024x768 is used?

Please explain exactly how or how much better the GTS is at that resolution, or why I should run it at higher resolutions, in order to give up other options.

its just plain faster. much faster, the MX's (without overclocking) is about the speed of a SDR geforce, with a slight advantage in 32 bit) the GTS starts pulling ahead at 1024-768 with 32 bit. anything below, the GTS is only 10 fps faster. 90 average fps compared to a 60 average fps is world of difference.

PS-dual head on the mx is pretty sh*tty if you ask me. Matrox all the way, g400 max

RobsTV, if u play a games and have enough budget better take the gts, and if u dont really play the game, my suggestion is take the G400 max like the ss284 said, i owe G400 on my second system and i am reaaly like the 2D quality of this card, even i can say my gts 2D quality can not compare with G400

Also,
with turbo gl drivers, the g400 max actually surpasses the tnt2 ultra in performace.

the g450 sort of blows. it sells for the same price you can get a g400 for.
