Final Part: LCD or CRT

Im checking around for any good deals. I have about $400 to spend. What would be the best router to go.
The monitor will be used for gaming sometimes and i dont want to spend more than that. If i go a crt way i definitly dont want to spend 400

Samsung 955/997DF period. You can get one for roughly $200-$220 shipped and they are a great monitor. Don't have the specs on me, but I know it has a .20 dot pitch. I have the 997DF and its BEAUTIFUL. You won't find a decent 18" + LCD for that price if you like to game you need at least 18" IMO

I would check the Refurbs, like Dell, and newegg for an lcd. But 400 will prolly only get you a 17". However a CRT for 400 you should be able to get a lot.

215 for a nice CRT (Samsung 955DF), or a nice LCD w/ pretty minimal ghosting if any for ~400. Up to you boss. 🙂

For my new gaming rig I will be getting a ViewSonic P95F+B 19" PerfectFlat CRT Monitor. For gaming, CRT is generally better, and CRT's are much cheaper as well. The one I linked is a pretty high-quality monitor and it's bigger than any LCD you are going to get for your price range. For $239 I'd say it's a great monitor.

If you want to spend more, you could always go with ViewSonic G220fb 21" PerfectFlat CRT, but since you said you don't want to spend $400 on a CRT, I would say to go with the other one I listed.

When it comes to gaming CRT is the way to go. Pretty much because you have choice on resolution. LCD's don't like to have their resolution changed.

Planned on the Dell 2001FP after watching that one guy at the Coldwarz, but I just fell in love with the Samsung 997DF and for the price especially. I Got bills man 🙂
