Final Moving Thread

Place 1:

- You went to college here, so all of your "leftover" college friends still live there.
- An hour drive from work
- No other opportunities if you get laid off because nearest "big company" would be 1 hour+ away
- You miss it because you went to College here
- Cleaner and beach and more quiet (South Jersey)
- Different living environment -- much more "peaceful" and slow paced, which you liked, but was sometimes boring.

Place 2:

- Closer to family
- Just as nice (the place itself, not the area)
- ALMOST just as many friends, although not as close .... yet.
- More expensive
- Half hour drive from work
- Busier and Dirtier (north jersey)
- Much more fast paced.
- Grew up in the area

Which one? And I think I've already made my decision, but I thought I'd see what others thought.

I read "no other opportunities to get laid" and thought - screw that then 😀

Seriously though - I'd go number 2 for the shorter journey to work. The only other concern is friends/family but they seem about equal on that one.

College friends will be moving on within the next year or so.

The distance from work will get longer and more tiring.

The cleaner area can be done on week-ends.

It is always easier on the mental state if other employment opportunities exist incase something happens.

Go for #2.
