OK, first of all, is everything going to fit with everything? I'm buying this stuff on newegg, so I really don't want to get it just to find out something's not compatible. The main thing is whether or not the motherboard is going to install correctly in the case I selected. And will the memory work OK with the mobo?

Also, what other cooling supplies do I need for this case? Am I going to have to purchase additional fans or something? If so, what size and which brand should I get?

And will all the cables and supplies necessary to completely build this system come with the parts I order? Am I going to have to buy extra stuff to build this thing? (cables, splitters, etc...)

I just ordered that same case, and a couple cheap fans since there's only one included. There should be some kind of kit with cables and literature with your motherboard

Well, you'll need a hard drive, an optical drive of some sort and a floppy drive if you're going to be using SATA hdd's w/ Windows XP. (Unless SATA drivers are on new WinXP CD's, they aren't on my old disk). Other than that, all those parts will work great together. Oh, you'll also need a video card.

In regards to video card, I presume you know that AGP cards won't work in this mobo. It's PCI-E.

Yeah, I already have a hard drive and a PCIe video card (6600 GT OC 128 mb), and I'm going to order a NEC burner too (forgot to put it on there).

Actually, what would think of this case? It looks pretty cool, and it has a temp reading on the front:

I'm going to be using an SATA hard drive. Can you explain what I'm going to need a floppy drive for?

Rosewill TU-155 Black Steel/Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 400W Power Supply - Retail

What about getting a case with a power supply included, like that one^. Is it really a danger to use it in my system for now? If it doesn't work out, I can always get another one later...

for windows to recognise your drive during an install, you have to install the sata drivers for your board, which should be on the mobo cd. when installation starts, press F6, and after a minute or so, it will ask you to put in a floppy with the drivers on it. then windows can recognise your disk, and install. you have to use a floppy, not a cd.

Where would I get the floppy? Does it come with the mobo?

I wouldn't recommend getting a case/psu combo, although not all of them are bad. I hear antec case/psus work well.

I think that you should stick with the separate case and psu that you linked in the initial post.

I wouldn't touch Rosewill with a 40 foot pole.
