Final Fantasy X

How powerful do you have to be to defeat the last boss?

I just finish beating his first form, and I get pwn3d, hell, I don't even get another chance to attack after the transformation!

I've heard turning the final final boss to zombie and using revive on him will kill him; so I guess I'm not worried about that...

I'm late playing, but I haven't been up on games much lately anyway...

well... there are like 3 final bosses.... so you'll have to be more specific. The game has been out for 4 years now so don't worry about spoilers... jebus.

you could tolerate that game so long? how many hours of play are you at? i had to force myself into 10 hours of it, and about 19 seconds of it was actual gameplay...

*golf clap*

Great help you were to him.

i know all of my characters were doing 9999 damage, and had 9999 hit points (i didnt have the limit breaks).
for Lulu, she had every magic, and double cast.
i dont remember the "level" i was on but that is how i beat it. it took me almost 3 hours to beat everything inside Sin.

it was easy... my guys werent at a high level since i finish the game pretty fast. hmmm. I recall having 2 power malee attackers and 1 person that could cure fast...

bah i dont remmeber it was awhile ago.. i just remember its much easier then 7,8,9 🙂

There was one area where encounters would drop level 4 key spheres; I ran around there for a while until I had enough to get the Doublecast and Ultima powerups. The ending was pretty much a walk at that point.

I've got 43 hours of play into the game so far...

Auron has 7700hp, wakka has 6400, and everyone else is under 5000...

I came close to beating him just now; his second form...but the bastid got like 40 moves in before my party could do anything...

I can defeat the first form easy; summon bahamut and use his mega flare twice...but the second form kills bahamut immediatelly, and the damn pagodas keep coming back... is there a way to stop those things?

FFX's last boss was pretty easy indeed. I had beaten it at around 54 hours IIRC. What an enjoyment though.

All I did was get Yuna's ultimate weapon and powerleveled her in the Omega Ruins until she had all the black magic spells and pretty much everyone else's abilities. 9999 hp and a melee attack that does about 50k makes quick work of the final boss.

Also, there is no way to kill the pagodas for good. They come back to life with however many hp you hit them on the killing blow. (If you kill them with a 9999 attack, they will have that many hp when they come back.)

I'm at the final boss and I'm only about 35 hours into the game. I screwed around for at least a couple of those hours too. I'm gonna work on getting some of the ultimate weapons first and level up in the Omega dungeon a bit. I dont even have doublecast or Holy yet. I havent even really modified my weapons either.

What you need to do is hastega, and shell and protect everybody. Without hastega, everyone will be too slow, which is why he's kicking your ass. Yuna is the key, and youll probably need tidus to hastega.

You only really, really need to worry about that massive swing he does that kills almost all your characters.

Have everyones overdrives on max before going in for the fight. Use yuna's holy, and have lulu doublecast ultima. Al bhed potions are good for healing everyone and getting rid of status ailments. Rikku can also do 9999 with the coin toss. If you can get the 3 chicks to the point where at least one of them will survive that swing with protect on, the last one can heal all of them.

The key is waiting until the 3rd stage is about halfway, then go all out on the aeons, which should all have overdrive as well.

My characters appear to have been at a much lower level than you, so if I can pull it off, Im sure you can.

I guess I should work on getting everyone's power weapons and obvious overdrive techniques that I don't have...

I can't do over 9999 damage in any attack besides Bahamut's Mega Flare...How do you do 50,000 damage in one hit?

This is the first FF game I've ever had a problem with...

You need the ultimate weapons (or whatever they're called.. I forget the name)... Go look on gamefaqs.com.

You don't really need the ultimate weapons or damage limit break to beat the bosses. It's somewhat time consuming to get all the pieces, and getting Tidus' is a flat-out PITA because you have to win a chocobo race with a net time of 0:00.

I did it the first time without that any ultimate weapons Some good prep is make sure everyone has limit breaks ready, and of course hastega at the beginning of the battle. I would highly recommend using a skill sphere if you have one on Auron to get Tidus' Quick Hit. Go through all of Yuna's summons, they will chip off decent damage. Then just keep Quick Hitting with Tidus and Auron and it's cake. If you don't have a skill sphere you can probably just beat him with Auron and Tidus hitting normally anyways - they should be inflicting good damage by this point.

final bosses are easy. If u have double cast, and ultima, it should be a breeze. IF u have yuna and aurons celestial weapons, u could beat him in in turn. Have yuna use a black magic sphere to get ultima, and another sphere to get double cast.

Yuna 2x ultima
Lulu 2x ultima
auron melee attack. ( assuming u broke damage limit)

he's pretty much done.

Then use the zombie trick on the last one.

hardest boss imo is the gurdian wurm!

The what? Hardest boss for me was Yunalesca... stupid zombie. I spent like an entire day collecting enough stuff to make zombie and stone proof equip.

You're kidding right? Yunalesca was easy! The key is to stay a zombie the whole time! She does so little damage to you that you can stay a zombie for quite a long time and if you die, just reheal, and get zombied again. All you need is reflect and Yunalesca is quite easy, a bit timeconsuming, but not hard at all.

Oh man yunalesca was the worst.. i wasnt prepared for her.. or that one boss that has the tails that keeps shooting crap at you and making all these effects on you..

anyhow, first time i beat the end it was rough, hast/firstattack/whatever with tidus is what helped me, lots of healing..

i eventually leveled, did AP trick, and cleared the entire grid with a couple characters, when i stopped playing, my tidus was doing 99,999HP per hit.. last thing i tried to beat was ultima(?) i forget the name, the boss you get when you capture 10 of every creature required in the monster capture thing.. it has i thikn 10million HP though =\.. rough game, i loved it though. i wish i still had my save game, i REALLY dont wanna do teh chocobo race for tidus's ultimate weapon again.. *sigh*
