Now I am addicted to this forum board. Until December 1, 2001 Electronic Arts has a coupon online for $15.00 off any purchases on their EA Website. Well, they are publishing Squaresoft's Final Fantasy X for the PS2 in the US and are taking orders for it right now. The price of the game is $49.95 - $15.00 = $34.95. This is about the best deal that you can get for that game delivered to your house upon its release on January. If you can find a better deal on Amazon or Gamestop, please let me know.

You can also use the $15.00 coupon on any PC, XBox, Gamecube, N64, Gameboy, etc...

I got an e-mail from EA last night with a coupon code for $15 off any game from their site, however the code looks like a one time use only code. it was a very nice surprise. I guess I was on their mailing list and those people are getting the coupons.

hell yea!! this is really hot!! im playing the jap version rite now (dont ask how..) and itz simply amazing!!!.....only thing is....the game seems somewhat short....i havent finished it yet...but where i am w/ the translator shows that im half way done...and im only 10 hrs into the game.....wtf?

i've got the music video of the theme song for FFX, it's tight. The graphics are just amazing. I got the ending too, very tempting but just can't watch it yet.

yep..i got the vid also...itz tite!! but the game itself...is a masterpiece!!! only one thing i must complain about...the eng voice acting..itz awful!!! squaresoft ruined it! they should have just left it in jap w/ eng subtitles......if uve heard the eng voice acting....then u would knoe!

and about the $15 coupon...i went to ea.com's store and couldnt find ne thing on the coupon...added ffx to my cart and still nothing.....where's the coupon??

and rite now...the deal isnt looking that hot since itll be $35+$4(tax for CA)+$6(ship)=$45 2-3 days after it comes out...since im such a big ff addict..ill go to the store the day it comes out for $54....datz just me....

I got the coupon in my e-mail--like QMan71 said, it looks like the codes are one-time-use only. Try signing up for their mailing list and see if they send it to you.

i'm a programmer at a game company and last word we got is that ps2 is dropping to 269....but, i could be wrong

i dont think ps2 is gonna drop to 199 soon, i just heard on tv that sony felt confident with their 299 price against competitors like xbox and before they were planning to drop it to 269

Sony is being like Nvidia and vise versa. Having a new dominant product, they jack up their prices estremely high and around 299. When ATI introduced its new product, the geforce dropped within $200-250 range. This will be major Trio-War between gamecube,xbox, and ps2 which I will definitely looking forward to. Don't keep your hopes down. Their prices will drop faster than duck hunting season. All the systems are excellent, but I still grade PC to be the king. Soon, emulation is not a problem with cosole games...
