Final Fantasy X-2 IGN review!

The game doesn't come out till the 18th, yet IGN already has their review up. If you want the basic summary of the 6-page review, they really liked it, and gave it a 9.5 overall 😛.
 
I'm definitely excited to get this! I didn't know they were making another aside from the online one!

I played the demo that came with the official playstation magazine.

They're actually making a short film as a sequel to FFVII. It's supposed to be about an hour long and will take place a couple years after the end of the game. It will be all CG like the other Final Fantasy that bombed.

They're actually making a short film as a sequel to FFVII. It's supposed to be about an hour long and will take place a couple years after the end of the game. It will be all CG like the other Final Fantasy that bombed.

Not to get off subject, but did anyone read the interviews when Square released the first info about Advent Children? They were asked why they just didn't make a game sequel, and they said "it would be too easy to make a game sequel". They wanted to do something different from the norm. Too easy? Well, I would MUCH rather have a game sequel to FFVII and have 40+ hours of gameplay then a short, 1 hour movie. What were they thinking? I believe they'll make a sequel to FFVII on the PS3, because it's a given goldmine, and they'd be stupid not to take advantage of it.

Especially if the movie does well and gets a whole new younger generation interested in the FF7 storyline/characters. FF7 is a good 8 years old now I think. If the movie is does well, they would have even more incentive to make a game sequel.

I loved FFVII. One of my favorite game if not the on in fact.

I would buy this next week, but Mario Kart and NFS Underground are already taking my money. I hate the holiday season! (Can't buy all the games I want 😉)

O sorry to hear that. The only other games that take my money are Madden and Live. Since those are gone, Ive had ffx-2 money allotted for sometime now. Cant wait
