Final Fantasy IX: The End

well, I just beat the game. It truely is amazing how squaresoft can create such a wonderful world and story. I truely loves the ending, makes you feel so loved or so full of joy. I got FF9 from my cousin last Christmas and have been playing it little by little. It was until today that I decided to go ahead and beat the game (I usually go and get everything)

This is why I love square soft so much. I can't wait until FF10 for PS2 and I simply cannot wait until I watch the Movie as well. 🙂

I pretty much beat that entire game in a month, I'm like an hour away from the end but I haven't picked it up since Feb.

I'd been playing Super Nintendo RPG's for so long, I finally got a PS1. I decided the very first games I would buy would be Resident Evil (The Director's Cut), and Final Fantasy VII. I've been playing FFVII steadily for the last 2 weeks (a little at a time) and I love it! When I finish VII, I'm fairly certain I'll be buying the others, as long as I don't have to pay through the nose for the games🙂 -kd5-

I still think FF2&amp;3 were the best. They really stretched the limits of the hardware and produced a creative game. Too bad there's so many systems now. I wish squaresoft would just license out their titles to other consoles so I can have my sports titles as well as my rpg ones.

kduncan5: forget about FFVIII, that game really lost its way.... way too much concentration on graphics, way too little on story line. I thought that would be the best FF game ever. Come on.... A mercenary school, a cool guy, a cool new weapon, cool graphics... I just got really really bored with it.... oh and check out Suikedon (spelling mistake prolly) I &amp; II they were simply amazing..

One of the best RPG's ever was Xenogears... you must play that game

So, is FF IX for PC worth playing then?
I liked VII for PC though is was one of the worst ports ever, but the game itself made up for that.

VIII though, was ported even worse, heck didnt even have a quit button, Wolf3D class graphics, compability issues, crappy story, etc etc.

Maybe I'll pick IX up if its actually good then...

Thats the opposite of whats happening, the Final Fantasys keeps getting worse and worse. FF6(jap)/FF3(american) was probably FF at its best, 7 was great too. Then something went seriously wrong with 8 =/

i agree that FF8 is and was the worse game ever, but the series is not getting worse and worse. The graphics are getting better which is a major plus for me. FF9 is as good as FF7 (the best one so far). FF8 is a poor representation of them all, but can you even imagine how FF10 will be....DAMN~!

I never played any FFs in PC, i dont think I ever will. Its much better on PSX
