Final Fantasy Getting Wiped

I've been cruising through FF1, not having much problems, but now on the last 2 levels of the sky castle, I keep getting attacked by groups of 4 or 5 Sorcerers.

They cast this spell called "Quick Shot" on themselves then they one shot kill each of my party members!

Any suggestions?
 
First, change thread title as it's very misleading. I thought that FF series was being canned when I read it.

Second, just level up.

Third, make sure everyone has the proper armor/weapons for that area.

FF1 is an amazing game. I still remember when it came out (1987?) and buying with my brother. I was only 6 or 7 at the time, but loved it from the start.
 
True story...I was a youngin when I first got Final Fantasy (maybe 6?), and I didn't know you could equip weapons. I nearly wrote it off as the most difficult game ever.

Eventually, I did actually beat Garland without any equipped weapons, but man it was hard!

This reminds me of when I beat Psycho Mantis in MGS1 without using the 2nd controller port. Took me like 90 minutes, but I had that guys rotation down pat!
 
I got each character an additional level, think they're all 22 now. Also, looted the mirage tower and sky castle and exited back out, now when I go in, I can go straight to the boss.

I recently beat it with 4 black belts. Then I tried a black belt + white mage combo. I think I beat it at level 24 with the black belts. For the black belt + white mage combo I let the mage die around level 20 and got the black belt up to 50. Dealing 1200+ damage every shot, even against Chaos, is something to be seen!
