This one isn't going to be a theatrical release like FF: The Spirits Within. Straight to DVD (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

Not a movie theater movie, so it's not nearly on as large a scale as "the spirits within", and it wont bomb because they won't be expecting people who didn't play the original game to watch it.
