final fantasy 9 question

i haven't played this game in about 4 or 5 years, so i decided to go pick up a preowned copy since i don't currently have one. when i got it home, i popped it in teh ol' ps2 and it said to insert a ps or ps2 disc. i pulled it out and noticed that they sold me a japanese version of the game. unfortunately, they didn't have the case to go with it. should i return it or is it worth more to sell it on ebay?

I'm sure there is an excess of Japanese FF9's. Probably worthless then the US version.

without a case i doubt you can get anything out of it on ebay. download a PSX emulator and play it on your computer, its a great game.
