Final Fantasy 9, anyone own it? Anyone play it yet?

I brought it for $42.00 & I think it was worth it, I on disc 2 right now & once I'm done, I'm going to lend my ps with the game to a relative to play it once & when their done, I'm going to sell it. I think I can get a good price for it, since it's scratch free, but if my relative puts a scratch on the jewel case or cd, I will put the same # of scars on them. I plan on getting the PC version when it comes out, that why I'm not trying to find every secret on my 1st time.

I dont know if it's me, but Squaresoft/Sony didn't really hype FF9 very much. The release was barely mentioned anywhere and I haven't heard any news about it at all. I think I prefer the more realistic rendering of the characters like in FF7 and FF8 over the retro cartoon look. I'll probably get it for the PC.

alright, FF9 is one of the best FF's ever... they did a great thing by converting back to the cartoony look. IMHO, before FF9 came out, the best one that I played was FF2 (snes) then FF3 (snes) FF7 (ps) was good and so was FF8 (ps) but nothing could compare to 2&3, until now... it RULES
