I saw the first one, after the plane explosion scene early on, it just got dumber, and dumberer, and dumbererer... That prohibits me from seeing the 2nd incarnation of the poopy!

Final Destination 2, in my opinion, wasn't as good as the first, but it wasn't bad. I really like the way they build suspense and keep you guessing as to what's going to happen. You know they're going to die horribly, but you just don't know how.. The first one was better because of the whole John Denver thing.
