Hi, I am now wiring down to the motherboard decision for my AMD thunderbird Socket-A 800mhz CPU. I was wondering which motherboard has top stability at the same time offer good price. I currently looking at the MSI K7Tpro and Asus a7v msi is available at this time but not the a7v and also a7v is having some problem with the o/c dip switch and thous significantly weakened its o/c ability. And when does A7v become really available... I am very confused which socket-A motherboard to buy thanks for your help.

Pricewatch has the A7V arriving in two days...I would wait a week for the retail production reviews.

I'm probably going to toss my Vote for the Asus A7V. I love asus boards, good performance rock solid stability.

The MSi K7TPro looks nice mostly because of 6PCI slots...the MSi K7T Master looks damn nice, but who knows when it will show up.

For now i'd say Asus. I heard the 17th of july for availablity.
Probably sooner for pricewatch.

Can you elaborate? I have not heard of any A7V problems whatsoever at this time, except one dealer claims that they sent him K7V installation CDs, which don't have the Promise ATA100 drivers (although that wouldn't prevent you from using the two regular IDE connectors now anyway).
