It is all compatible!
For $10 more why not get the GTX 470
And use the code: GSKILLTEN on the ram to get $10 off :)

Check out combos as suggested, but the config looks fine (except for the overkill PSU as mentioned). The 6870's really don't draw very much power at all.

Thanks Mosox and others, this just shaved like hundred bucks off the build. Enjoy the savings or beef up the GPU? Thoughts?

Ordered everything yesterday and today I get an email with a promo code for a 30 dollar discount on the i5!!!!

That puts the i5 around the 180 price range. Of course I called the egg and they honored the discount since everything is still in transit. But, from my previous dealings with the egg I knew it shouldn't be a problem.

Just thought i would share, here is the promo code if anyone cares.
