Well here it is guys, a sub- $1000 build I am building for a friend; Everything seems to be in check, but it can't hurt for another pair of eyes to double-check. 😉

Based on the 7800gt, I'd assume your friend is a gamer? See if you can't get a larger HDD...

Yes, or at least just get a single GB dimm now, so adding another one later doesn't mean dropping to 1T.

If this is what you are talking about, wouldn't it be better just to get the 1GB with much tighter timings?

80GB will be more than enough for him.
