who is better than PSU that you would put up there?

im amazed you picked out PSU as 3 when #4 has 2 losses, albeit to #3 and #2.

ND is #6 because they lost to #1 and MSU

What a crappy bowl for PSU, playing #22 FSU. Numbers wise, thats just pathetic.

that's exactly why its horrible. Some of these matchups choose teams with some type of dynasty behind them and it's completely unfair to the real deserving teams. Face it, record is the only indication of success we have to go with. Florida State may have beaten a few great teams, but losing 4 times is completely unacceptable to be playing in the second best bowl. PSU should be playing OH state, oregon, or notre dame so a team like oregon can actually make the BCS bowl it deserves.

well the ACC has an auto bid for the first place team, and well complain to VT that they lost.

and i believe this will be a better game than you think FSU is young and streaky.

2 PAC-10 teams in the top 5...not bad for a supposedly "weak" conference.

People said the same thing about Cal last year and they got spanked. Oregon will hopefully lose their bowl game as well.

Wow... Pac-10 actually got some well-deserved love from the BCS. Shocking... :Q

Not really. They don't have a championship game, so its a function of that rather than respect. If they had a Pac-10 Championship game, Oregon would've had a rematch with USC, lost again, and then you'd only have 1 team in the Top 10.

This is so lame how PSU is playing Flordia state. How can they put a number 3 with a number 23. Thats all risk for PSU and all possible gain for flordia. I know I know people will watch it but damn I much rather woudl have watched PSU play Nortre Dame or OSU

no way FSU deserves a BCS bowl, automatic bid to conference winner is fine but they should have some provision where if you have more than 3 losses and still win the championship, the next best team in the conference should get the BCS bowl, you cant get BCS bowl bids because of 1 game winning streaks,

The same people complaining about this are the same people whining for a playoff. How often does the best regular season NFL team win the Super Bowl?

We should just sticky a BCS thread so the same complaints can be shot back and forth. While we're at it, a "Can USC[insert good NCAA team] beat the Texans[insert crappy NFL team]" poll should be part of it. The only way people are happy is if their school is playing for the championship. No one from USC or Texas is complaining this year 😉

That's what is so great about a playoff system; You have to do good in regular season and awesome in the playoffs
