Filter for back of Silverstone PS07

I recently built a system using the Silverstone PS07 case and if I should put a filter in the back. There are front and top (magnetic) filters on the case but the back lacks a filter. Would it be overkill to add one of these to the back 120mm mount hole?

I haven't installed a back 120mm fan since it's pretty nice and cool but the dust may be an issue. Currently the air flow is pulled in from the front by 2x120mm fans goes through the cpu cooler then out the back.

Anybody PS07 owners want to chime in?

You're not using the rear fan for intake, are you? If it's an exhaust, a filter will be absolutely pointless. Filters are only useful on intake fans (and to some extent top fan slots which allow dust to fall in when no exhaust fan is installed or the PC is turned off).

Exactly, and would restrict exhaust air flow likely raising the temps in your case.

On my PS07 I flipped the top fan over so the two front fans are intakes and the top and rear are exhaust. I left the top filter on due to dust settling, but as the others stated, no point in a filter on the rear.

Yea rear is for exhaust, but I turn off the computer when not in use so I'm trying to prevent dust from getting in from the back.

Huh, I thought the front two fans on the PS07 were intake fans (well mine came installed that way). Yea will take advice on rear filter.
