It's a well-made film, and Malcolm McDowell plays a monster brilliantly (I have it on DVD because it's part of the Stanley Kubrick box set), I don't watch it often but I watched it again last night. I'm now trying to figure out what possessed me to watch it :) I'm a bit drained by it, because it casts a very morbid view of modern society.

What do you enjoy about it? Do you watch it often?

I saw this film in Highschool, where my teacher showed it to us for European History. We had to write an essay on the film. It was kinda tame after Caligula.

After watching it two dozen times over a few days to write a sociology paper, I felt about like this:

Watched it in film class in high school. Hated it then. Maybe I should watch it again.

I've had this movie sitting on my hard drive for about 3 years, and never watched it. Maybe I should give it a shot tonight.

I still haven't seen it. For my generation, it's getting too dated for me.

When I finally saw The Shining, I thought it was okay- it's like finally seeing where all the endless pop culture references are coming from.

I thought that the film was a masterpiece. Though, I haven't watched it in the last 20 years.

Saw it in college - long time ago. I liked it. Very graphic and disturbing, but it raised interesting philosophical questions.

I really enjoyed the chick at the very beginning that was about to be played with. Very beautiful body. I wish they carried with that scene a little more:p
