fill a DVD with mpeg1 video?

I have like 40Gb or mpeg1 family video and wonder if I can keep them in mpeg1 format and make a DVD that playble in a DVD player so i can store like a lot of mpeg1 in 1 DVD ....coz if I make them all in VCD...... it will take a lot of disc and it is not easy to carry when go to relatives. Thank you!

Sure you need a dvd authoring program - my favorite is tmpgenc dvd author 1.6

Yes, as mentioned dvd author 1.6 will do the job. DVD specs require 48 khz audio, and if you've got 44.1 khz it will automatically convert with this program
