FileZilla FTP

Am I allowed to host an FTP server that connects to remote shares? Like I've got G: connecting to a network share and I'm wondering if Filezilla supports connecting to remote network shares or not.

If you've mapped it as a drive letter, the operating system should take care of interfacing with FileZilla Server. When users connect to that drive, say G:, I'm pretty sure all of the traffic has to pass through your FTP server. I don't think FTP users can connect directly to the network share.

I've loaded it into filezilla but in the FTP client it shows nothing..

Wow, I just tried it with a drive mapped via NetDrive and confirmed. 🙁

I guess you know what they say about assuming 😛
