I find KaZaA more and more troublesome to use, it's almost always a pain in the ass to successfully download something, legal/legit or not seems not to make a difference.

What is the newest version? I just have the regular KaZaA that I removed the spyware manually from.

<< KaZaA lite is excellent. KaZaA without the spyware :) >>

It's not excellent :(

Maybe it's my connection or something but I have a real hard time getting things to download, and to download fast. It worked better on dialup. :(

does anybody else have this problem? whenever i try to download something, anything, it will always tell me they failed. after i double clicked on it, and look at the traffic page, they are all listed as failed. i updated to the later kazaa 1.6 or something, and they still fail. i dunno why it does that nor how to fix it. can anybody help? thanks

p.s. this started happening just several weeks ago...before then, i was able to download just fine...dunno why

I find Kazaa Lite to be entirely too slow. WinMX, when downloading from somebody with a fast connection, works great for me.

Are you using winxp as a limited user? if so that's your problem. log in as admin and make sure you have rights to the kazaa folder and downloads folder. I'm not for sure if you need rights to the program files folder. The same thing happen to my sister,so i gave her rights to the kazaa folder and the downloads folder. that fixed her problem.
