Finished putting together my new one last night and ran the files and settings wizard on the old system. I saved the file to the old HDD and then temporarily installed it into the new case.
I booted up and installed all of the programs that the wizard said I had to. I started the wizard app for the return of the files and settings. Everything looked great until the progress bar was about 3/4 of the way across, then the taskbar disappeared and that was it. The taskbar would not come back even with a ctrl+alt+del.
Th oddest thing is that some of the settings got moved. My 5 e-mail accounts were all there in Outlook Express 6, but the desktop was not changed, the screen reosolution, etc.
Can anyone help?
