file viewer suggestion

Greeting,

Can anyone suggest some free yet good file viewer please? I would see something that can read word, excel, as well as some image files. Thanks.
 
this page should have everything you need. they are free MS office viewers. as far as graphic viewers go, in order of decreasing cheapness:

photoshop
acdsee
irfanview
windows built in image viewer
thumbnail support built into windows.

i use acdsee now, but have used irfan view (free) and i like it, as do many others on this forum. good luck!
 
What you want is QuickView Plus, but it ain't free except when you use WordPerfect Suite 2002 . . . it is part of the suite. 🙂 Doesn't Microsoft's competing suite have a similar file viewer?

Anyway, there are many shareware and a few freeware viewers:
