File Type association

XP folder options -> file types -> click on anything -> advanced button -> new > action

I know the usual actions are Play, Print, Open but sometimes I see an ampersand before the action e.g. &Play. What does the ampersand stand for? Can you give me an example?

Thank you.

When I was learning VB, the & character was placed before the character in the word that was going to be underlined, so that you could use the keyboard shortcuts to do the menu option. However, the underlines dont show up on the conext menus in XP on my machine so maybe I'm just talking rubbish!!

But I just spotted that moving the ampersand underlines the character after it, but the first character is still underlined.....
