file transfer

Hi Group,
What do you guys/gals use to transfer files on your own computer?

in other words what I am doing is opening up 'Windows Explorer' to move pictures from one folder to another and many times it goes sideways on me 🙂

Thats just one example, the files could be any type too, mp3's, doc's, etc . so what do you use??

I use a PC that stays upright, and aside from automated/scheduled tasks, have yet to understand the copy program fetishism.
