I am a Quake3 nut..i have about 13 gb of maps&files of quake on my old computer,my old computer is a 6 year old gateway...how can i transfer the game &files from my old computer to a new machine..?

fastest way would probably be to take the hard drive out of the old machine and set it as a slave on the new machine and just copy the files over. If that's out of the question, you can always hook both machines up to a LAN and enable file sharing to copy them over.

Definately just put the old hard drive into the new system, by far the fastest method. Also, the good thing about Q3, you just copy the whole folder over and you don't need to reinstall the game. Just run the q3.exe file and you're in!
