File Transfer Wizard Wont Load Created File on New HD - WIN XP HOME

when i try it says:
The location you specified does not contain stored information.

but i saved the folder it created: USMT2.UNC
i tried just pointing to it on the drive i saved it on, and i also tried burning the folder to a dvd and loading it from there. get that error either way.

I would really like to get this working... i guess i should have just backed up my emails and stuff instead of using the wizard?
maybe its because i dont have my new install of windows activated yet?
