I'm really hoping someone can help me here. My friend sent me this huge 120 meg file through GAIM. It showed up as completed. I can not find it. I did a search on my computer multiple times, and it's not there. (MPEG File.) So, he sent me a picture, and I saw where the "default" to save that was, and it was in the BIN Directory. Now, I know GAIM was 'ported' for Windows, so it still retains some of the architecture that it used for Linux.

Anyone know where this could be? I've searched my hard drive over and over and over.

EDIT: So, he's just sending it again, and I'm saving it to my desktop. But still, if anyone knows where that file is, and how I access it, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Perhaps in the C:\Documents and Settings\[your Windows username]\Application Data\ or C:\Documents and Settings\[your Windows username]\Local Settings\Application Data\ directories? Both of them are hidden directories, so that may be why you couldn't find them.

This would be my guess too, but I will try to test it when I get home today.
