File splitter

I am looking for a way to split a large file into two or more smaller ones so it can fit on DVD.

Thanks both. I have 7zip installed so I'll start with that.

7-Zip is my favorite compression utility and will do the trick but for purely splitting and subsequently piecing back together, FFJS is tops.

7-Zip worked fine. It also had the option for DVD size split which is the one I used.
