File Sharing in Win 2K

I have a dual boot Win98SE/Win2K setup. In 98SE, I have no problems accessing files or drives from the my other machine, which is only Win98SE. But, when I boot into 2K, the machine with 98SE only can only see the My Documents folder of the 2K machine. I have turned on all the file sharing settings in 2K I can find. What do I need to do so the other machine can see all the drives in this 2K machine?

Hold on. Dual boot or two computers? Partition or network problem? If partition problem what is the win2k partition formatted as? Your post was a bit confusing.

If the other computer can't get to the stuff on the 2k box, make an account with the same name as the 98 box so they can log in. MAKE SURE that you assign a password to the account on the 2k machine. For whatever reason I could never get to files unless I did that.

what i did was add user name ( same name as your other pc name) in user group and enable guest account. it seem to help me getting file 🙂
